Scheduler FE can display a Chain in a graphics format.

 

Both Scheduler FE and SchedulerLite have been developed using Java and connect to the Oracle database by a JDBC enabled link. This results in software that is platform independent, it will run on the Unix operating system in the same manner as it runs on Windows.

With regard to Scheduler FE, there are four versions, one version each for Oracle 10g Release 1, Oracle 10g Release 2, Oracle 11g Release 1 and one for Oracle 11g Release 2. Each version is upward compatible, that is it will run on later versions. It will not though, display features that are new to that version. For that you need to download the correct database version.

All of the software that can be downloaded from this site is free. Not only is it free to test but also to run on a production environment. There is no cost involved in using the software. Additionally I would like to state that there is no hidden functionality within the software. It does not perform actions unrelated to the Oracle Scheduler functionality.

This does not change the ownership of the software which remains with Blueshire Services Ltd. In addition reverse engineering the software is not permitted and making changes to the software is not permitted without obtaining permission from Blueshire Services.

The following are the versions of Scheduler FE that are available together with the name of the file to be downloaded -

Scheduler FE Version 2.2.6.4, zip file name Scheduler10gR1.zip to run on Oracle 10g Release 1

Scheduler FE Version 3.4.2.4, zip file name Scheduler10gR2.zip to run on Oracle 10g Release 2

Scheduler FE Version 4.0.2.4, zip file name Scheduler11gR1.zip to run on Oracle 11g Release 1

Scheduler FE Version 5.0.0.2, zip file name Scheduler11gR2.zip to run on Oracle 11g Release 2

After downloading, extract the two files, Scheduler.jar and SchedFileData.csv and put them in a directory together. Click on Scheduler.jar to run the Scheduler FE.

On my version of Internet Explorer, Version 7, the download file, SchedulerLite.jar gets renamed to SchedulerLite.zip. If this occurs with yourself rename to SchedulerLite.jar after it has been downloaded.
